Terms of Service

LimeGhost ("we", "us") is a content workspace with an AI companion, built and operated from Switzerland. By creating an account or using limeghost.com you agree to these terms. If you use LimeGhost on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorised to bind it. You must be at least 18 or the age of majority where you live.

The service

LimeGhost turns ideas into published content: you keep an idea bank, the companion researches and drafts posts for each of your channels, generates images in a theme you define, and everything lands on a shared calendar that you review before it goes out. Posts publish automatically to the channels you connect — your own blog's CMS, X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon, YouTube — and for a channel you haven't connected, LimeGhost writes the post and you paste it over yourself. We're a small, independently run product — we ship improvements continuously, and features may change or be retired over time.

Your account

Sign-in is passwordless via email codes, so keep access to your email account secure — you're responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. One person per account: to work with someone else, invite them to your workspace rather than sharing a login.

Workspaces and projects

A workspace is shared: everyone you invite can see and edit the content in it, and anyone with access to a project can publish through the channels connected in it. Invite people you trust, and remove them when they leave. Whoever created the workspace is responsible for what happens in it.

Plans, credits and payment

Plans and prices. Our plans and their prices are listed at limeghost.com/pricing. Prices include VAT where it applies. You pay monthly or yearly, in US dollars, euros, Swiss francs or pounds sterling; the currency is fixed by your workspace's first purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.

Free trial. A new workspace gets a 7-day free trial with 100 credits, and no card is needed. If the trial ends without a plan, the workspace becomes read-only.

Credits. AI features (writing, images, the companion, web research) and posting to X use credits, as shown in the app before and after each use. Everything else — scheduling, the calendar, posting to your other channels — doesn't.

  • Each plan grants a number of credits every month. Yearly plans get them monthly too.
  • Unused plan credits expire at the end of each monthly period.
  • Credits you buy as a top-up don't expire while your account exists.
  • Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred and aren't refunded.
  • We may change how many credits an action uses. If an action gets more expensive, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance.

Founder pricing. The first 25 subscribers get the Solo plan for $14 a month (or the same discount in their currency) for their first 12 months, then the regular Solo price. Founder pricing is available once per workspace.

Testers. We invite some people to test LimeGhost before or after launch. A tester plan is free for 3 months, in exchange for feedback, and there is no obligation to subscribe afterwards.

Renewal and cancellation. Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel in the billing portal (Plan & usage → Manage subscription). Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for, and the plan keeps working until then. Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged pro rata; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.

Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods and for unused or used credits, except where mandatory law grants a right of withdrawal or refund. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK: by subscribing, you ask us to start providing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully provided or, for digital content, once its supply has started with your consent. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while. If it can't be collected, the plan ends and the workspace becomes read-only.

Read-only workspaces and deletion. A workspace without an active plan — or with more projects, connected accounts or members than its plan includes — is read-only: you can read, export and delete its content and choose a plan, but not create anything new, and scheduled posts don't go out. Workspaces that stay without a plan for 6 months are deleted, after email warnings 30 and 7 days before. Posts already published on external platforms aren't affected.

Price changes. We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change, and it takes effect at your next renewal after that.

Your content

You keep all rights to the ideas, text, images and files you put into LimeGhost. To run the service, you grant us a licence to host, process, display and back up your content — for you, your workspace members, and (only when you publish) the platform you publish to. You're responsible for what you upload: only upload material you have the right to use. Attachments are capped at 100 MB each and we don't accept every file type; the app tells you when something is rejected.

Generated drafts and images are yours. To the extent we hold any rights in them, we assign them to you. Be aware that AI output may not be copyrightable in every jurisdiction, similar prompts can produce similar results for other users, and outputs may unintentionally resemble existing works — review before publishing or commercial use. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Publishing to connected channels

Connecting a channel authorises us to publish, update and delete posts on that external account on your behalf — nothing more. We don't ask for read access to your feed, and we can't act on the account beyond the posts LimeGhost put there. You are the author and publisher of everything that goes out: you're responsible for it under the platform's rules and under the law, including any disclosure your jurisdiction requires for AI-assisted content. A scheduled post publishes automatically at the hour you set, in the project's time zone; it's on you to review it before that. Once a post is live on an external platform it lives under that platform's terms, and we can only remove what its grant still lets us remove.

YouTube. LimeGhost uses YouTube API Services. If you connect a YouTube channel, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's Privacy Policy applies to what Google does with your data. Our Privacy Policy (YouTube API Services) says what LimeGhost reads from YouTube, how long it keeps it and how to revoke it.

Research

The companion fetches public web pages to research a topic. It reads what is publicly reachable and cites its sources; it does not sign in anywhere, and it is not a licence to reproduce what it found. Anything you take from a research report into a post is your editorial decision — check the facts and respect the source's rights.

Acceptable use

Don't use LimeGhost to create or publish content that is illegal, that sexualises minors in any way, that depicts real people in intimate or misleading contexts without their consent (including deepfakes), that harasses, defames or promotes violence or hate, or that infringes others' intellectual property. Don't use it for spam, coordinated inauthentic posting, or anything that breaks the terms of a platform you've connected. Don't misuse the platform either: no reselling access, scraping, reverse engineering, circumventing rate limits, or probing our security. Don't use LimeGhost to get around plan limits — for example by creating many workspaces to reuse free trials. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

AI disclaimer

AI-generated output is probabilistic. Drafts can be inaccurate, invent facts, misread an image, or read nothing like what you asked for; a research report can cite a page that was wrong. Nothing the companion produces is reviewed by us. You're the editor — read it before it ships.

Termination

You can stop using LimeGhost at any time; email support@limeghost.com to delete your account, and your data is then removed as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. On lawful termination by you, nothing further is owed either way. If we terminate your account for a breach of these terms, fees already paid aren't refunded; if we end the service for any other reason, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

Warranties and liability

LimeGhost is provided "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. In particular we don't warrant that a scheduled post will publish — external platforms change, revoke grants and go down. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, lost data, business interruption, a post that didn't go out or went out wrong), and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we'll notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use LimeGhost after that means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland — unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you a different forum.
